Membership Categories

We offer two main membership options, plus a "Friend of the Club" category for supporters.

All memberships can be paid annually in full via our website or monthly by standing order.

Annual memberships run from January 1st to December 31st and are pro-rated if you join partway through the year — the fee is reduced by 1/12th for each month that has passed.

A one-time joining fee of £55 applies to all new memberships.

Family Membership

Family membership is applicable to 1 or 2 adults and up to 2 cadets all living at the same address. Cadets in this category will be accepted up to the age of 18 and additional cadets within the family will be charged at £15 each.

Single Membership

Single membership is applicable to any individual over the age of 18 at the time of application.

 

Anybody over the age of 65 or in full time education will be eligible for a

50% discount.

 

Friends of the Alexandra Yacht Club

This applies to any person wishing to support the club,and attend

social events organised by the

Alexandra Yacht Club.

Jetty Fees

If you wish to launch and/or keep your craft on the jetty, fees will apply.

Membership Terms

All new memberships are subject to a 1-year probationary period, in accordance with the rules of Alexandra Yacht Club.

Members are expected to comply with the club’s Constitution, Bye-laws, and Rules at all times to help maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all.
